Default jdm and usdm comparisons

I have a prelude with the h22a1 and the motor went. I'm now shopping and im looking into the jdm h22a. I was wonder if there are any differences between the 2 motors. are the wiring harnesses different?

there is also a compression ratio difference; the JDM is 10.6:1 and the USDM is 10:1. JDM motor is thus suppose to have a little more torque and hp.

If you look under your hood right now, you will see that the end of the engine harness is connected to another harness which goes thru your firewall on the left side of the engine bay. In japan, since the drivers seat is on the opposite side, the wireharness actually goes thru the firewall on the right side of the engine bay. So its very hard to use the jdm harness because it wont reach.

Also, the fuel rail is backwards as well.
