Default Best intake/chip

Hey yall
anyone know the best intake for a 94 lude vtec? and/or the best chip?? i have a JDM H22a, but i'm lookin for efiiciency in my parts. Best Intake? Best Chip?

Intake? any cold air intake is basically the same thing...

Chip - DON'T GET A CHIP, GET IT DYNO-TUNED W/ a V-AFC and what not...

it seems that the original aem cai did produce the most hp out of most of the intakes i have seen the new v2 actually produced a few less give or take the car and the surrounding conditions.

i'll second the dyno tuning w/ the vafc it works better plus it looks hella sweet

dont get a chip. the stock internals cant handle the extreamly high RPM's. also have you looked at a h22a dyno? the max HP is when vtec kicks in, then it goes down. so if you redline at 9500, you'll mess stuff up and lose power.

on the intake: depending upon where you live (rain?), get a short ram and build a cold air box. with cold air you always have the chance of hydrolock. (sucking water into the engine/ about $1800 fix) some people get a bypass valve so they dont hydrolock, but you lose HP with a bypass valve. if it never rains then your fine.

But you would have to submerge the ENTIRE filter in water to get it to suck in water...
