Eibach Pro-Kit Springs question
Honda just replaced all my struts with OEM Honda struts. Im planning on buying the Eibach Pro-Kit. Would i need an alignment right after i install them or?
definitely, anytime you modify ur suspension in any way, especially if ur gonna lower it, you're gonna wanna get an alignment, even if you think you don't need it, better to be safe than sorry.
he means a print out of your alignment before they align it
that way you can see how much you were off and what was adjusted.
there are 3 basic angles, camber/caster/toe
there are also other measurements that you will notice on the printout, but these seem to differ by name, depending on where you get it aligned and what type of alignment computer the place uses.
either way things to consider:
they may not want to align it if its lowered, even 1.2 inch's.
you OEM struts may not last as long with lowering springs, as opposed to stock springs.
you will bottom out a lot more, i have a prokit and i bottom out on every speed bump now
but the handling IS worth it, at least to me since i push my lude to the limit daily.
