ebay is ebay, there is always assigned risk on the internet.
it all depends on what you do to handle that risk.

as far as the pricing scheme goes, the gsr swap is more expensive than a h series...ie, why buy a b18c1 for a civic to run high 14's. when you can get a cheaper h22a and run high 13's with a decent launch.

the huge torque differences between the two motors is what makes that ET count.

i would never do it just because i don't trust ebay at all, especially if it's something i want to put in my car. I want reliability and if your spending that much anyway, get the engine from a more reputable place for a little more or maybe even a little less.

 

I don't trust ebay engines for anything. There is no real warranty to speak of.

I'm in the process of getting screwed over by a guy with 800+ positive feedback. It wasn't likely, but it's happening.
