Default Stroker Kits for H22A

Does anyone know any websites/companies that provide stroker kits for H22A's?

i agree, even though you cant bore over too much in the h22. the rod/stroke ratio isnt that good as it is. as opposed to a b16 wich has almost a flawless ratio just out of the box, makes for a better motor to stoke up

You can't bore without sleeving in H series engines because of stock FRM sleeves.

Anyone got prices for a complete bore to make it a 2.5 rather then a 2.2? and what is the expected WHP and such... I am not doing it yet, as I have a 93 Si w/ H23A1 and I am selling this car and planning on buying a 5g lude w/ a H22A Type S engine/LSD tranny... thats the plan for way in the future, but we'll see what happens lol, anyways just wanted some info ahead of time

type S H22 is a waste of money, unless you can get it for pretty cheap. it's easier to update the H22 to Type S specs, and also u don't have to go through the trouble of mating the type S h22 to the LSD tranny or worrying about ECU stuff etc etc.

hmm unless the 5g you're looking at already has all of this stuff...

any F22B or H23A will provide you with the necessary crank and rods for stroking the motor to 2.3 litres.

above that throws the r/s ratio too far off like some have said.

boring to 2.5 litres is nearly impossible due to the siamese type cylinders. 2.5 litres is achieved by a combination of boring and stroking to maintain the structural integrity of the block. if you'd like to see a 2.5 in action, check out the H22A equipped AEM drag civic.

Is that the largest you can bore an H22 to, 2.5? Or can u go larger, or is 2.5 just the best to do because it's not too big?
