Hello, My friends having problems with his fuel cell regulator on his 1992 prelude sr 2.3L. It is messing with the ignotion and the fuel pump and it runs and then attemps to die and this also cuts out the dash lights stereo ETC.

we would like to know what other things could do this and are they serious.

sounds more like the main relay if his electrical goes out.

the main relay is a repeated TSB recall for 4g ludes
i have changed mine already and i also have a 92 Si, originally came with the 2.3L.

its located under the dashboard basically above your clutch pedal. its a box about the size of a cigarette pack. the cover of the relay is bolted to the dash, you can get the relay out of the cover but either way its a bitch to replace. i got mine from honda here
