91 Prelude Si
recently i have been looking for a new car after my 95 Del Sol VTEC was totaled... and my searches have led to a 91 Prelude Si, its an automatic
, but its $3800 with 144k miles and the exterior looks really good. does anyone have any testimonies for/against this make and model? am i getting ripped off? im test driving it tonight, and i will hopefully have some car by friday, i just figured i should ask the pros here before i do anything.

i wouldnt pay that much for a third gen prelude, especially an automatic one, they arent my style, keep looking.
im paying $3300 for a 92 prelude s 5spd with 140k, and its very clean inside and out

I owned a good condition 91 si. I think for a good condition it is at most 2500 bucks. The price you were offered is a rip off.
After buying the 96 prelude si, I think they are two totally different monsters. You will be happier with a 92 and newer prelude. Of course, find a stick one if you could, it makes all the difference. The newer ones are heavier, but the torque is greatly increased.
