16.1. with just an intake and new clutch he ran 15.7 obviously he is a good driver and I wouldn't expect the same results from every car. with my f22 I hit 16.0 with i/h/e, high flow cat, gutted trunk, and egr blocked off on 18" wheels.

i just wanna know, are you honestly impressed with that pos dx accord? The only mod you should do to an F series engine is swapping it the hell out!

.1 liters
1500 usable rpm's
30-37 HP (stock for stock)...h23a1=160, h22a1=190, h22a=197
DOHC VTEC

also dont confuse the h23a1 non-vtec USDM motor in the 92-96 Si, for the h23a DOHC VTEC in the 99? jdm accord wagon.

yes Im impressed with that dx accord... Considering at a recent event at englishtown there were 3 5th gens that all ran mid 15's with bolt ons. I think people give up on f22's way too easily. Now don't get me wrong I have an h22 in my car and its not like I think the f22 is the greatest engine ever or anything... But anyone ever heard of Bisimoto? f22's are finally getting some aftermarket products made for them and I think they will be making somewhat of a comeback. Obviously they won't be for everyone, but you can definetly make big power with them.

ok, first...the usdm f22 was never were popular before, so how can it make a comeback? Honestly man, i think you got your eyes on the wrong engine...And your comment about "defintely making big power with them"...who? who makes big power with the F22? You RARELY see that engine modified on the track or for pro use...Nobody uses it because honestly, its a weak engine. People know that its not worth putting money into modifying an f22, b/c they get so more power out of an h23, h22, or damn, even a b16. Everyone in their right mind in this prelude forum knows the f22 is the bottom of the barrel, and although you can get an increase in power with mods, NO ONE WHO IS SERIOUS ABOUT PERFORMANCE TUNING IS GONNA HAVE AN F22 UNDER THEIR HOOD...get over it.

obviously you don't know who bisimoto is... do some research. lots of people make big power... I've seen quite a few engines internally stock putting down 270-280 to the wheels with only like 12 psi. as far as all motor, how's over 300 to the wheels? obviously thats fully built but thats pretty much the same power that all other top all motor honda drag cars make. Like I said the f22 isn't neccesarily anything great, I swapped mine out, but I do think that people give up on it way too easily... Sometimes I want to build mine since its just chilling in the bottom of my driveway just to prove people like you wrong.

go for it...build up your pos f22, if you feel like wasting you're money. I obviously don't know who Bisimoto is? Wrong. You're refering to Bisi Ezerioah...I dont know why you related the F22 to him and bisimoto eng, when he is know for his all motor SOHC 1.5 liter CRX...You gotta realize, if you tuned the the h22 the same way, it would put out 330 hp to the wheels with 12 lbs of boost and all the other all motor would bw around 340 HP...When you start off with a better, faster engine, your gonna get better results...its as simple as that. I'm not saying that you can't make an F22 fast...With the right $$$ you can make ANY engine fast...What I'm saying is this:
If you tuned both and F22, an H23, and a H22 equally; spent the same on mods on each... THE F22 WILL BE THE LOWEST PERFOMING OF THE 3...The H23 will have more power than the f22 and the h22 will have more power than both...
