auto to manual trans swap
i have a 92 prelude S, with the f22a1 motor and auto transmission. im thinkin about the h22 swap with manual trans, would it be a pain in the butt to switch transmissions?????
not if you're already swapping the engine.
you'll need some more parts (like a new ECU) but if you're swapping the H22, it might come with. ask your builder/parts source, but OTOH you'd need a new guage cluster and ecu.
but i think it won't be too tough to swap trannies if your swapping in a h22.

start lookin on ebay, and around junkyards and searching the net
usually you get the linkage with the swap, the pedal and clutch master cyl is a junkyard item, so is the shifter and middle console plastics
its really not that hard to do, specially if u are doing it while doing the engine swap
once the engine is out of the car, removing and replacing any underhood subsystem is magically a 10 minute job.
