anyone have a clue why?

or how to fix this?

True the rotors may be "warped" or they have some pad material built up incorrectly. In any case the solution is to either have them trued or replace them. Another thing, if you recently changed pads and did not bed them in properly that can be the reason why you now have this problem.

or you need our tires balanced and if you got new ones just for front that can also cause the problem, i have the same problem got new tires all 4 and everythings a ok.

yeah but then it'd shake under acceleration too...

I bet your real problem is your CV Joints.

I have the same problem. With my energy suspension motor mounts, when i shift quick and hard..it puts alot of torque on those cv's. I have crossdrilled brembo rotors on the front. My vc joints are in bad condition..my steering wheel also shakes when i hit the brakes.

If you go to rotate your tires, lift the front up. Make sure the tires are off the ground. The boot that is on the joint closest to the trany, turn the wheel slightly back and forth, see if there is play. If so..you cv joints are getting bad.
