Front Upper JDM Strut Bar
I had just purchased a JDM genuine Honda strut bar for my 2001 and when i went to install it i had a problem....most strut bars screw into the bolts that hold the strut...but this has 2 bolts and they screw into 2 holes (that are covered by plastic things). Well wen i actually got the bolts to screw into the hole, i realized that the plate that holds the strut to the body is covering up part of the hole...so tommorow i am going to take both struts out rim out the plate a little bit and put the strut bar in...The question i have is... since the bar is only going to be screwed into the body, not holding the 2 struts together, will it make a difference?? PM or reply...thanks
It's a standard OEM piece, black stamped steel and tubiing. As for bolting it ot the car? I've seen them and they install just like any other tie bar, take the two bolts off that hold the strut in and drop the bar on and bolt it back down.
