if i get 18s with 215-35 tires wut is the biggest drop i can do withotu rubbing if the wheels have a 48mm offset? also how far can u drop before needing a camber kit?
Well i have a 2" drop all aorung with H&R race springs and im running 225/18/35 with a +48MM offset and i dont rub at all. The 215 shouldnt give you any problems with that offset.
whether you need a camber kit is kind of controversial.
definitely get an alignment and make sure it's 0 toe. i'm thinking the rule of thumb is like 2" or less drop and you won't need a camber kit. maybe 1.5" or less.
i havent decided on my sprinigs yet but i might go nuespeed spirt springs. I was told u dont need camber with them but if I go with the race springs I do. Anybody got this setup?
i have h&R race spring and its 1.8" drop all around. with 215/35/18. it doesnt rubb @ all... loving it. i would post a pix. but dont know how...if someone could PM me or show me how that would be great. thanks
First you have to have your pictures hosted by either image station, wetodd racing etc etc. then use the IMG button in the tool bar to insert the web address of that particular picture location on the web and it should load.
