questions about the automatic trans.

I am buying a 98 with 38k miles. I have read that if you do not use the "tiptronic" shifter properly that you could damage the trans. causing costly repairs to be made. Any advise would be appreciated.

don't buy it... if it takes a crap u have to pay for it... if you want auto atleast get a 00 so honda pays for the new tranny!

don't get the auto, it's a piece of junk

it's not even about using it right or wrong, the thing just dies on you, and it costs assloads of money to fix. if you want a prelude, make sure you get a 5spd...
