Default all red tails??

anyone have any pics of their stock tails sprayed completely red w/ testors candy red? also, any tips on how to prep for the job?

there are some pics of that on preludeonline.com plus u cant spray them completely cause u have to leave the reverse light white for it to be legal.

last time I tried looking on preludeonline, you had to have a membership to view ANYTHING. Plus, there's already enough illegal stuff on my car, I think i'll risk it backing up every once in a while.

prep.. you're going to have to take some sandpaper to where you will paint to make sure the paint will stay..
if you live in an area where you get salt for snow.. u'll need to touch them up every year b/c the salt eats it away.... but it looks good when it's done.. not too much paint or you'll have to wait until it fades a bit to match...
but i've been doing it for 3 years and love it

i'd actually be doing it on a 4th gen lude, that's what pictures i'm after. I just saw this done on a 5th gen. civic hatch today, though, and it looked sick! I think i'm gonna do it. what grit sandpaper to use? like 1500 grit?

I dont think it is illegal some stock cars have all red back lights. A mercury cougar the mid 90s version had solid rear lights so does a 4th generation jetta.

well, so do eclipses, but they also have seperate backup lights.
