Is it me or has anyone else fallen in love with the stock 5th generatin base model rims? Are there any rims that look like these in possible 17s or 18s?

 

You're not alone. I can't bring myself to change them out. So what if they are "stock".

 

Someone finally made a car w/ good looking stock wheels. I've thought of getting new ones, but can't bear to part w/ the stock wheels.

 

Hehe, ya I have a G4 and WANT your G5 rims lol too bad they aren't 4 bolt!

 

I'll chime in with a yes they are very attractive wheels just just "stock". I think the base looks better than the SH rims too.

 

For what this is worth. My stock Base rims are in the cartons that the AR-Carrera/Motegi-MR12s came in. The New wheels are similar to an OZ Superleggera, without the price tag (yes they weigh more too). Will I part with the stock wheels-good question. BTW we stuck with 16" and everyone loves the look.

 

My body's dad has a 1999 porsche 911 carrera cabriolet and he put on 911 turbo rims. Those rims look very similar to 5th generation base model rims. We parked em next to each other. all in attendance aggreed that the Prelude rims looked better depsite the fact that they are 2 inch smaller in diameter. :fawk:
