I'm diggin my K-x. With the shit weather here haven't had much to take pics of though.
AF point selection is easier if you set the green button to Center AF Point. Only time you'd need to change it is if you want to use an old K-mount lens, then you need to set green button to Optical Preview so you can take a meter reading.
Adobe updated Camera Raw to support PEF from the K-x but it'll only work with CS4. I have the same issue. DNG is fine. I may "upgrade" to CS4 but haven't yet. h:

Dew it, u know u want to do it.
I know, but some situations requires LV though.
Thanks
It does. The layout is a bit different than the K10D, but I'm okay with it I guess.
Now that'd be a ballin collection
Funny my friend said the same thing.
Spray paint yours.
Put some sparkle on it as well :naughty:
Yea, I'm okay with the AF points now.
About Upgrading to CS4....I'mma hold back on that one. CS3 is still nice and I'm not a "big" Photoshop guy.

Oh also I should rephrase on Green Button setting, if you want to use an old K-mount lens and sorta have auto exposure you can set green button to just "green button" and when you press the green button it'll stop down the lens to your set aperture, take a quick meter reading, and set the shutter automatically. You can then change shutter speed as desired. Works pretty slick.
Also live view is very useful with MF lens, you can zoom in to check critical focus. Much more precise than trying to use the viewfinder since it's not all that great for manual focus in low light.
