Been too long since I busted out the camera but I did tonight and got these.

60 seconds @ f22


70 seconds @ f22



Not sure I like the conversion to b&w on these so I am gonna tweak em a bit and see what happens.

Did you do any post processing? I like the composition of the second shot. Looks like you underexposed it a bit?

Color of the first?


I like the second one, B&W goes well with it, I don't think it would look quite right in color.

I need a remote shutter control...I want to take long shots, but I have to hold the button which can get shake if my hand shakes.

Self timer set to 10 seconds? That is what I'm using with my tripod until I get off my ass and order the remote... it is only like $20 for the canon one for my camera.

dude, just get one. nikon ML-L3 http://www.google.com/products?q=nikon+ml-l3&hl=en

I had a cheap off-brand one that worked just fine with my D50. they are cheeeeeeeap.

If its a bulb speed, it probably wouldnt even matter You can probably walk in front of the camera and not have it even catch you

Otherwise, use the timer to set the shutter off.
