Default Christmas pcitures of my nephew

Gad was it tough getting that kid to sit still and smile. Light would have helped but it was a crazy overcast and rainy day and I got no natural light from the big window behind me. ugh.

I guess it's the best I could do considering.

I shot with my Canon XT and used both the Canon 50 1.8 and the Sigma 18-50 2.8 . I bought a white sheet and and black curtain for back drops. and those are real presents. haha. I used the onboard flash using an index card bouncing off the ceiling.

Very nice job. I wish I had time to spend with my camera to get some shots like that.

What types of aperature ratings did you use?
