Default Does this look realistic?

This is my first time doing anything with Photoshop. I don't really know how to use it, so I used MS paint for the paste job.

Reality:

Fantasy:

I reduced the darkness on the wheels, and the sides of the spokes are still all different shades.

start w/original image.

-edit>copy (layer)
-edit>paste as new layer
-image>negatve image
-using the eraser tool, erase everything but your wheels.
-image>negative image
-adjust>brightness (lower brightness in increments of say, 20)
save.
