Default Tested the new Canon SD400 @ the zoo.

I got the camera with a 512 sd card for $320 shipped from Dell about 2 weeks ago. I never had the opportunity to test it out untill this past Saturday. Everything was left on "auto" because I had no idea how to mess with the deep options.

I think you and my gf have something in common.

We hit the gift shop on the way out of the penguin area and she freaked. She saw a penguin mask and just had to get it.

Basically it's 5.0MP and the size of a deck of cards. It has 2 really cool features on it:

- adjustable shutter speed for those night time light streaking effects
- "my colors" ... you can select a color you want to be more vivid than the rest. If you select blue, all blues in the image will pop more than reds and greens.

Its a nice camera, I sell electronics at work, mainly tvs/cameras/home audio. The canon you bought is a VERY nice setup. Feature wise it stays over up to date and its a 5mp so blow up shots come out crisp...your pics are most likely resized to around 25-40%. I say if any of you guys are looking for digicams, go with either the above company, Canon, Sony, or Nikon. I myself own a Sony, DSC-P150 7.2 MP to be exact, but work with these cameras every day. Canon I think has the most experience in the camera industry, and their SLR series cameras that are around $800+++ own anything. Well good luck with it, nice pictures, VERY clean and clear.
