I tried to get this picture to look better, but I keep doing something wrong. I wanted the snow to look crisper, but my car keeps getting darker?

I would select the car with the polygonal lasso tool. Then under "Select" hit "Inverse".
Now you can adjust color, contrast, etc. without the part you selected. I also lightened your car slightly.
This was just a quick job. It can look much better.

edit: How do you make the attatched image full size?

Wow that's great. But the color of my car is a bit dark.

thats what happens when the car is kinda fuzzy to begin with (low resolution and a bit over exposed). in your pic, the car color isnt very saturated. i tried to help it out a it, but like i said, its hard with the low resolution. there isnt enough digital data to keep everything detailed and clear. i could probably make it work if i wanted to sit an play with it for awhile.

try using the shadow/highlight adjustments in PS CS. That should help. If you don't want anything to change on your car, try cutting it out as mentioned above. Finally, you could also get a lot out of adjusting the levels, but it will make changes to the look of the car as well if if is not copied ot another layer. ![Smile](https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
