JKan2001: You have a little competion here for the 400whp SOHC motor. I'm planning on having 415whp when I'm done next summer....on a d16z6!

Good luck on your setup though. Too bad I am working on a deal for a Greddy kit for my d16.

Cool, i hope you know you're not gonna make it anywhere near 400 on the greddy 15G or 19T whatever that new turbo is. Check out the precision SC34/44, they should be enough snail power to get our cars over 400, it's gonna take 20+ psi on oh a sohc though

I'm interested...send me some pics if you have them. Have you guys checked out the edelbrock turbo kit made for sohc civics? It dyno tested at 176 whp and 147 lbs of torque on an ex.

What's your email or IM me at jkan2001 and i can direct connect them to you. The edlebrock kit is overpriced and overrated IMO. I made about 30 more wtq and the same whp at the same psi than the edlebrock kit and i didn't even get a fancy intake manifold or anything. Some punk with the kit tried to talk trash to me about how he makes a better powerband, but after i posted mine it was obvious i ALWAYS made more whp/wtq than him at every point on the band.

I don't know what's up with that kit, the T28 should be a good candidate for the sohc.

Any oil inside the turbine housing. I just finished building my old D16Z6 for turbo duty. I sold My CRX and I am dropping the B16A and kit into a 92 VX Hatch.

the turbo is in perfect shape, none of the seals are leaking and there is no shaftplay at all, gotta love IHI quality.
