Wow! He really got a great price then, the car had something wrong with it, or the guy selling it was in a hurry to unload it. The KBB price is around $7000, and the cars in the Dallas area in good condition typically go for $8-9K. I agree with the $7000 range if it has an orignal clutch, older tires and worn out brakes. But mine has a new clutch (ACT professionally installed), New clutch master cyld., almost new tires and brakes, and has been babied to no end. I know that mods do not improve the price of a car, but I do not consider regular maint. as mods. Glad your brother was able to get such a smoke'n deal. Since I am in no hurry to sale I will wait around until I find the right buyer that appreciates the realy perfect mechanical condition of the car.
