This laptop has a broken rear power fixture. I have looked at it, and it is soldierable, but I don't know how to do it, and want something faster anyways. It will operate on battery power, but the battery is dead right now.

are you interested in trades to start with?

What exactly is broken? Just the solder for the power connector? do you have pics of the problem?

Thats a Compaq, right?

Just looking for $$

The hole in the back of the laptop has a fixture, which I assume attaches to 3 connectors inside. It feels as if its only connected to one. It got progressivley worse and worse, but there is no pics of it because I didn't take that part of the laptop apart. I only had it open to get at the HD. And yes, its a compaq.
