I have an '88 Accord with minor cosmetic damage that will not allow it pass inspection. Looking to sell the car to someone in need of parts. Has occasional trouble starting, but otherwise runs fine.

Whats the cosmetic damage that wont pass inspection?

 

the front bumper appears to be falling off..

 

Yes, front bumper is loose. Cracked windshield. Broken turn signal light.

Other than inspection-issues...
It has a strange issue starting. Starts sometimes, and not others.
Small amount of rust on the driver's side door seam.
Small dent on back passenger side.
Power-steering and brake fluid leak.


Just put in a new starter a month ago. Also had all new belts put in.

That pretty much covers it.
