My baby for sale :( 96 accord ex h22a hybrid.....
ok, it has come time to possibly sell my baby. I just got a new car too, and i have law school coming up, and i'm not going to be able to keep two cars more than likely. Full details below, with links to pics. i have tons of pics through this car's history since i first got it brand new in 96. I'm the only owner. Sorry for the read, but i'm going to describe it as best as i can. THe pics in the link show my accord, but there are only a few there, i have tons more i can send. It was recently featured on www.eyecandyconnection.com under featured import rides. It's still there i think, but i didn't have my latest parts on the car for that shoot. It's got a good title, not salvaged, and i'm located in so cali. I can't arrange trasport really to other states, that will have to be on the buyer. Here it goes........
1996 heather mist 4dr accord EX. moonroof, freshly painted by a very good body shop. H22a 94 JDM DOHC vtec motor. H232 tranny (was going to run nitrous, longer gears were going to be better for what i had planned, but never got around to doing).
motor:
dc stainless header, full MSD ignition, OBD2-OBD1 conversion, auto-manual conversion (very professionally done, looks as if it has been a stick all along, and shifts very nicely), new stage 2 clutch, red JDM valve cover, tanabe exhaust, AEM cai intake, polished intake manifold, fluidyne radiator, nice engine dress ups, optima battery.
Exterior/suspension:
Eibach pro kit springs, koni adjustable shocks, DC front strut bar, DC rear lower tie bar, tenzo rear strut bar, Wings West w-type sides and rear, APR v-spec wing w/carbon ends, Carbon fiber front lip, 94-95 accord front bumper and front grill, carbon fiber hood, red/clear tails, shaved rear emblem, JDM side markers, JDM style headlights w/6000k HID system, Carbon fiber eyebrows, polished wiper arms, window tint, Velox VX-k 18 inch wheels, on 225-40-18 toyo T1s tires.
Interior/other:
Stock leather back seat, Full tweed doors and panels, Cobra monnaco racing seats, carbon dash kit, carbon gauge bezel, autometer carbon gauges flushed into dash, carbon autometer tach, VAFC, turbo timer (from when i was turbo'd), Mugen shift knob, mugen suede steering wheel, ITR shift boot, short shift out of a prelude, Autopower certified roll bar, 4 point harnesses (stock belts intact too), carbon sparco pedals, new floor mats, poineer 8000r head unit cd player, (pre-wired for PS2) Flush mounted 5.6inch screen/monitor in center console, USAcustics chrome 4 channel 4080 amp, pioneer front components, and 4-way rear 6x9s.
Car has been featured on speedoptions and on eyecandyconnection.com. Car has won over 35 awards, including best engine (when turbo'd), best auto, best 4dr, and many 1-3rd place finishes in class as well as 2nd in db drags when the system was in it. Car runs very very well, the dealer has done all major service to the car, and car has used mobil 1 oil it's whole life. Also only ran on 91 octane. Car has about 130k miles (give or take, the original speedo and odo took a crap on me, so i had to change it out. THe milage on the dash is wrong, it says 68k i think, but i hae full documentation to prove it's milage at around 130k as of now since 96. THe motor was swapped in at 97k miles, so it's still fresh. It's a great motor, and great on the freeway. This car was raced on the old stock engine, not on the new H22a, i never got around to finishing it the way i wanted it to race it. It will turn heads, and make any owner very happy.
I DO HOWEVER, WANT TO KEEP 2 THINGS OUT OF THIS CAR, AND THUS THE PRICE IS NOT INCLUDING THESE TWO THINGS. Mugen steering wheel, and cobra racing seats. I have an extra set of racing seats that i will put in, which are r-1 reclining JDM ITR recaro look a likes, black with red stitching, and i'll throw a sparco or momo wheel in place of the mugen one.

oh, i forgot to mention, in the link, there is a pic of a broken motor mount of my accord. THis is going to be fixed by the dealer tomorrow, and this is the first mount to go bad ever in this car. It lasted 130k miles, and two motors, it was probably due. I can provide paperwork on this car's dealer service history, receipt's, and everything showing it's legal. THe car has been smogged as well, and is registered through 2004 in cali. It also hase new custom personalized plates that will be picked up from DMV this week.
