No the sad part is your not getting the whole picture, but your not the only one. The commonsense my posts brings to this rim sale post does more to justify the sellers position than it justifies what can TRUELY be called lowball offers. If you or anyone else does not like the reality of what used rims sell for, please don't cry about your lot in life. Just continue to look silly trying to sell them at higher than market price. You just might find someone stupid enough to pay that much. Frankly you've already said for him not to accept below $500, I'm saying that is the where negotiations should start, point of fact our positions aren't very different,..................are they.

BTW, I'm not interested in the rims, so I have nothing to gain in what I say. But I have sold allot of stuff to other car guys, including rims and tires. I don't take forever to sell thing cause I price it fairly and at market price. Will said he's testing the waters, I'm just telling him what the water is like, he can draw his own opinion on mine.

And on another note...who said i was driving some "fast" car? I have a 4 banger LX...i know i'm friggin slow...NO DOUBT!...and i dont have 16" alloys....I have 18"'s....and no...i'm not saying just cuz i have 18"'s i'm all friggin that(i'm trying to get some stock wheels)...just clarifying your ignorance.

Anyway..power to ya....good energy releasing post you did there!

Dave
you obviously have no clue what the term "lowballing" means. try this then. since youre the "buyer" and "its up to you to pay whatever you want" go to a honda dealer. pick out any new car you want and then tell the salesperson, "hey, ill take this car right now for $2000 cash". oh wait? are you going to say its not the same since its not a used car? fine then. go pick out a clean title good condition 99 Accord with minor scuff marks on the bumper and off the "ill take this for $2000 cash" to the salesperson.

if you think your price that you offered is "fair" or "only a little bit low" why dont you go find several ads for us from different people selling similar 16" wheels w/tires for that price. maybe by doing that you'll realize what market value is for these things. the world doesnt revolve around your puny wallet kid. dont have the money but want the shit? work your ass off and save it then.
