what's a coil? Only one shock? which one?

I dont have shocks right now, and you cant use springs with coilovers. Coilovers are springs with an adjustable sleeve. You could use these with stock struts, however its not recommended. But, if you do decide to use aftermarket lowering springs with stock struts, Teins are the better choice because they are amongst the softest springs which will give your struts longer life.

The rear ones were put on with KYB AGX. The front ones were never used.

Just curious, but how did it ride with aftermarket setup on the back, and stock on the front?
