but it doesnt cover up the rest of the center where the old center console was?? that looks pretty nasty if u ask me...

 

Actually that was a photo I found on the web as I didn't get a chance to take pics before I sold my car. The person removed something but I only removed the original area that goes around the shifter w/ that crappy cupholder. It will look cleaner than that.

All that was removed was the ashtray and cigartte lighter that sits above the cupholder. It still does not line up with the dash and you have a very large gap between the two. This DOES fit pretty close with the 88-91 Civic dash, but not the 92-95.
