I just got a 96 Accord auto. This motor is absolutley trashed-black hard oil? caked into the valve train. So it's not even worth repairing.

Anyone know of a cheap motor near Buffalo, NY? Tranny has 193,000, so if I could find both together that would help.

No mods planned, so just a decent motor that will drop in please (known working condition on both would be needed). No rush!

i have a f22b2 non vtec. complet motor about 80k on it and a 5 speed tranny if you want it im selling it for 600. also have the complete wire harrnes and i have the intake manafold all you need is a set of inj but you can take them off your other motor. and youll nee a half shaft but also you can take that off your other car i thinks its 3 or 4, 14 mm bolts. um let me kwow so i can have it shipped i like in oregon wi 53575 if you want to geta shippen rate. i have a other f22a1 out of a 93 accord. but i have nto takeing it out and its got a little high mil and it needs a water pump . but let me know if you want it

How much does a motor weigh? for shipping
Can I use the f22a1 in my 96 which has a b2?

I will be regasketing and doing the timing belt and water pump on any motor I get so that's not a problem. What are you looking for on the a1?

 

well its not pulled yet so idk maybe 300 or so . but i knwo the other f22b2 will fit in your car as well as the f22a1 i know accords they will all fit. um but i havent pulled the f22a1 out yet but the f22b2 is pulled out and im kinda looking to sell that frist um for 600 or so

 

I have received shipping quotes from $200 up to $750, but $200 seems to be the ball park. I may have one within a days driving distance, so I'll keep you in mind.

I would like to eliminate the shipping charge and use that cash for the gaskets though.

 

on the f22b2 all the gaskests are fine the only one you need to do is the exust and thats it . but it is kind a drity but its not oil it just needs a little bath and itll be fine ran fine fo me let me knwo
