Hey Im just trying to help. I was still ripped off so I have just as much right to post as you
...good luck to all. i may have missed it, but how did people pay this guy? Money orders are covered, Bank checks are not, and Paypal is a crap shoot. you may win a paypal dispute, but the seller probably long ago cleaned out his account.
IMO, you can't buy expensive parts online (unless you pay when you receive your goods)...too much of a chance of being scammed, and everyone reading can see how slow the legal process is. man, i hope it all works out for the buyers here. don't close the thread...people have to learn how scammers work. the basic idea is always the same. string the buyer along until it's generally too late to file claims. it's good information to follow this from the start, where Eric gets in an accident, and Sara takes over the business...lol. Eric and Sara, probably the same dude. a refund only takes 10 minutes, and Delivery Confirmed mail costs $2.40 (if a check is mailed out). A shipping company that lost at least 3 engines? Must be DHL...j/k. wow. i've been scammed, but nothing to the level of the main buyers in this thread. again, best of luck with this one.
