You're asking what is the best motor, but for what car? Are we supposed to guess?

its a 93 hatch , i think i may have found the best motor, its a d16z6 fully built vtec, all forged internals and low compression flat top pistons, new head, and it hits 10,000 rpm , but im still lookin bc its not a for sure thing

If you have forged internals, that would also include low comp. pistons

Anyway, im on the way to a fully built z6 boosted Im not too sure about the 10k rpm's, but oh well. IMO that would be a lot of fun, but you really can't go wrong w/ a JDM B18C or USDM B18c1. A great all-around motor, w/ good torque bone stock.

I wanna also tell you, that this is the wrong forum for this...this is PARTS CLASSIFIEDS.

well its not exactly the wrong forum bc im lookin for one of these motors also , i seen video of him hitting 9800-10,000 and yes its low compression pistons, i dnt kno why its able to hit that hit, but it does, n he is runnin low 13's...lol.....id rather have that motor or an h22 but i got that damn k20a b4 i knew how much it would cost to put it in....and its not worth it at all, not when i can do an h22 with a cai and cams and get so much more power....but id love to steal a new civic and take the R18a1 out of it

K20 > H22 IMO. Dont get me wrong, a K swap is a bitch, but so is a H22 (for some people) Still, stick w/ the D series!...A LOT of fun.
