Sorry, I know that this is kinda off-topic, but did you experience problems with the wheels after you had them polished? I mean, are they more susceptible to scratches and whatnot?

Not really...it gets a haze on them when they get wet, sort of like your windows but nothing a cloth can't wipe away...with aluminum, the more you polish them the finer it gets. you can always get the clearcoated but I chose not to b/c like i said, the more you polish the better it gets.
