I need the complete air intake assembley. It's got the hose that connects to the throddle body and the four latches that connect to their airbox. I would also prefer all OEM screws that hold the box in place.
Can anyone make me a quick offer? It would be great if we could meet on AIM or MSN or something and you could put it on eBay as we're talking and then I'll do a buy it now for our predetermined price. I'd even be willing to cover the cost of the auction (about $1.50) and obviously shipping. I'd be paying through PayPal immediately.
i.e. I'll IM you, you'll then put it on eBay, I'll buy and pay as we're talking, you ship, I sell my car. Yup. I'd LOVE that.
The reason I need a new one is when I discovered I'd cracked my stock air box all to hell when we were installing my AEM. A big chunk of the intake box was missing lol
I get my tax forms here in about three weeks and I'll have my money in about six weeks. And I'm looking at low milage last generation GS-Rs and Prelude VTEC and I'm restoring my car to stock as much as possible and that include all engine mods.
Okk....
So about the AEM intake. It's in stock blue and has the CARB cert sticker on it and the AEM sticker in white (see picture of it in link at sig). I've had a shielded tube (plastic ricer tube visible in same pic) that has worn off a TINY amount of the blue paint. I can get a detailed picture. It feels like there's a tiny pit on the intake now, but it's not as if the metal has been punctured or penetrated in ANY way. As far as the filter, it's the stock AEM filter and could probably use a cleaning. You can use the AEM or K&N filter cleaning kit available for fairly cheap. The intake is in very good condition and will come with EVERYTHING needed (all the screws and rubber hosings and etc). In the picture it shows that the AEM intake looks like it's custom mounted, this is because I've got a 1" TB spacer (<- lame) but we didn't do any mod to the intake, just to the car.
I'd like to buy the OEM intake complete for about $50, would pay a little more if it had a K&N or something, but doesn't even need a filter.
I'd like to get about $50 for my AEM intake if we trade, which I feel is a fair value, I will also use that money to ship the intake, so I'd only be getting about $40 in my pocket. I will ship the AEM intake the next day as removing it will only take 20 minutes, if that long. It will be boxed securely and be great, however you will need to pay and ship your intake first.
Let me know!
Anyways, LMK!!!
