I got my accord in an accident friday. Repair cost will be 2200 dollars, and the car is worth 2600 on kbb. My parents want me to repair it then sell it for 2600, or keep it, whatever. My goal is to see if i can part it out and make 400 dollars, as opposed to repairing it, then selling it. The pieces that are not good is the A/C condenser, radiator, passenger fender, hood, and passenger headlight. Tires are good, muffler is brand new, car is in good shape, engine has 140k and is in perfect working condition (well cared for). How much do you think i can make off the car?

 

i would part it out in the fact it makes more sense if there is 2200 in damage why fix it and sell it for 2600 you will put more time into fixing it then just selling it like it is

 

Thats what I was thinking. My friend said the airbag assembly alone could go for 200.

Next question: Anyone need any parts? I can start tearing stuff apart soon.
