Default FS: 17" gunmetal rims w/ 205/40/17 tires

hey everyone, i'm selling my 17"x7 8 spoke gunmetal w. polished lip VSR Burnout rims they're 4 lug universal with 205/40/17 michelin wynstar tires and +40 offset. they rub too much with my lowered car on turns so i'm looking to sell them for $700 shipped. They were only used for about 200 miles. there is still 98-99% tread on the tires. never been abused.

Will it fit 94 civic dx without any problems? Car isn't lowered but planning to lower for about 1.5 inches?

all you gotta do to keep it from rubbing is roll your fenders out a little bit, by your pics i can tell that you barely need more clearance in the fenders. Might wanna look into it.

it rubs a little in both, but mainly the lip. if you rolled the fenders and got some small spacers it would fix the problem. also they just rub for me cuz of the H&R sport springs which lower it about 1.75-2 inches.
