89 CRX Parts Galore..
well, its been about 6 months since ive been here. my crx was totaled out...you can prolly find pics in the pre-9x forum. insurance screwed me over, so like i said in the title: parts galore.
i am parting out the entire car.
i have a list going for parts. i am sellin parts locally also, so if you want it better hurry. for a copy of this list email me. DONT RESPOND HERE. like i said, its been six months since i came here..
Rules of Game:
#1: i will allow bidding. if you give me a price, and someone wants it more(more money offered) then its thiers. i will email the original bid-e to notify of the change and to let the bid against the other. if i have to show proof i will fwd emails or whatever.
#2: the whole car is going to be chopped. if the parts not on the list hit me up for it. calling is alot quicker.
#3: the motor is going as 1 huge deal. dont ask for parts from it.
#4: prices do NOT reflect shipping. that is additional to list price.
#5: i dont have any front end parts ie radiator, front clip, bumper, or front fenders. i dont have the black halo's anymore either.

Motor Info

This motor is a fully built N/A B16A1. I had it freshly rebuilt in december. The car was totaled in January. It has literally a total of 3000 miles on it. I had just done my first oil change. The tranny is a Y1, it doesnt grind. The motor was honed, hot tanked, blueprinted, and balanced. Has a new 2000 Si crank in it. The pistons are JE, high comp. pistons. i cannot remember the compression at the moment b/c of the head swap. can find out if needed. i know it is major high. 11.4 i think if not higher. the head is a fully machined(milled), ported, polished, GUDE race head(www.gude.com). it is the full package. Head, ported intake manifold(match ported to head), exhaust also match ported, 5 angle valve job, race cams, gude valvetrain(9K redline), gude oversized throttle body, tps, and reprogrammed ECU. that came in the gude package. now as for the rest of the motor heres what it has. honda oem type r racing crank pulley(n1), free flow str fuel rail, b&f fuel pressure regulator, powder coated valve cover, 93 integra front spindles & brakes(alot larger than stock rex), axles(one busted will replace if price is met), short ram intake, v-afc, new dizzy, all wiring harnesses, kamikaze 4-1 header(massive dent in it...can be fixed), brand new heat wrapped type-r 1 peice header. i dont remember what brand, never installed it. i wrapped it, was gonna put it on the weekend she got killed. im sure i left something out in the description, so if you have any ?'s let me know. im asking 4500 obo for the swap. i have put over 6k into that motor, it pulled 13's with the busted ass header. i know it has potential to do low 13's(possibly lower) with right tuning. i broke the motor in right, did the first oil change, drove it for about a week. on friday of that week, the motor broke an axle(yeah that much power). i was towing her home with some straps. as we passed an intersection....BLAM. no more rex. i saw her die.
oh well. insurance isnt giving me crap for it so im parting her out. let me know if you are interested. thanks for looking.
