custom intake for Civic FOR SALE
used some Integra GSR parts and a large K&N cone filter to make a custom intake for my 1995 Civic. Since I bought a S2000, I toned my Civic down so I'm selling this intake -- for cheap. I have lots of picture, but no place to host the yet so email me if you want pics.
I built this setup by using the stock rubber piping, from a GSR, that runs from throttle body to the airbox. The Teg piping is quite a bit larger than same piping on my (5th gen) Civic. In addition the GSR piping tapers from the filter to the TB (like I heard the Ice-man intake does) which really helps with performance. Connected to the end of the Teg piping is genunine K&N filter. It is is 9" long and tapers from a 6" diameter to a 4.625" diameter; it's got a 3.5" inlet. It's filter area is about 3 times the size of the stock Civic filter!!
The filter needs some cleaning but other than that the system is ready to go! The filter alone cost me like $60, but I'm looking to get rid of the entire setup for a lot less than that. Make me an offer...

Here are some pics...
Here's the Teg piping versus the stock Civic piping:
Here is the BIG K&N filter:
Here is the only blemish on the filter (and it won't affect performance in any way):
Here are all the peices:
This picture is trying (not very well) to show the small part that connects the filter and the stock Integra piping has rounded inner edges to ensure good airflow:
