I have a complete d16y8 motor including automatic tranny. the motor is blown, the mechanic told me the head is still good and the block could use a bit of work (maybe re-sleeved,new pistons,rings,etc.) and be good again.
so if anyone is looking to build a d-series block this may be a cheaper way to go.
like i said, aside from the block the complete motor including the intake manifold and the axles are still in great shape. will part out if necessary, but would rather sell it complete.
