Special: Brand new H.I.D KITS Available in any Temperature/Bulb Application
do the 8k setups provide a lot of light that is usable?
i want a nice blue tint, but the 10k looks way too illegal to pass on the streets around here
im thinking about some 8k 9006 for my 2001 Integra Type R low beams
how long do these bulbs last and how much are replacement bulbs?

the 8,000K does put out a good amount of light, but going with that temp you wil lose ~ 400 lm. The 8,000K yields a blue/white output. The only HID KIT we sell that containts dark blue would be the 10,000K.
Life span varies, but expect about ~2000+ hours of use.
thanks

So even though the 10k puts out more lumens than a halogen 120W bulb (I hope I did my research correctly) it doesn't provide much useable light? I guess it's cause of the color. Also, do you have reduced prices on the H4 Dual Beams? In addition if I switched my headlights in the future would I need to buy a new kit or could I just convert it?
Saga: That is correct. The intensity is there, but it honestly does not put much light on the road.
Please see www.superhids.com/forums.htm prices have been reduced on the dual beams accordingly.
You would just need to purchase bulbs for compatible with your new application.
RiceBurninVtec: We are working on a new pricing structure for replacement bulbs. Right now they are starting out at as low as $155.00 shipped and price increases respectively with temps.
thanks

Now, I have 6Gen Accord and Im using thos POS OEM head light units. Im assumed those are 9006 bulb on mine. As for plugs and wiring, do I need to splice anything at all? How do you convert those plug to fit into the HID bulb

hey there guys let me tell you a little experience about these guys. I ordered HID'S off these guys about 3 weeks ago i sent them about 20 emails saying that i had changed my mind and still no response I then sent a complaint a week after ordering through paypal. I got a response right away saying it was shipped so I went with it. When I recieved the package they had snet me a 2.00$ Lens Cover That was USED on top of it. I paid 315$ and recieved a 2 dollar part. So I emailed them several more times and still no response. So I had to file a investigation with the internet fraud devision of the FBI. So I strongly suggest staying far away from these guys
