Man, the classifieds are how I have a little fun on Sundays... I mean you got an endless list of people to call

I was seriously interested in the wheels when I saw the thread and it is a great deal if not for the whole shipping piece... that's what killed it for me. That's all I was saying.... I'd rather spend a few bucks more on new.

There's such a thing as suggestive negotiating by stating a fact without actually asking for anything specific... its open ended to see where the seller will take it next. There's a saying in negotiations "whoever says a number first looses" the idea being... well never mind this is getting way OT.

Had the terms been a little better I may have bought these. Now this thread has just turned into a gripe session.

Also, if you could get me the weight of one rim with the tire on it that would be cool. I've got a fedex account so maybe we could work out a deal where I could send you prepaid shipping labels for each wheel. If you can get me the weight, I'll look up the rates and get back to you by PM to see if we can work somehting out.

They weigh 30 pounds a piece including tire...the rim is 12 pounds and each tire is about 20 pounds full of air. I guess i can let most the air out so there's still some protective cushioning and get it down to about 25 pounds a rim/tire.

the wheels are still on my civic and my car is filthy, i'll try and get it washed sometime this week and get you some pics.

I don't want to insult anyone but does air really weigh 5 lbs? I could see that if there was moisutre in the air that it may weigh something... but 5 lbs

Don't forget to wash that thing... I need some pics:thumbup:
