In late 2002, when Honda introduced an all new, rugged, utilitarian urban cruiser to the U.S. market, the compact, nimble, gas-sipping Ruckus appealed greatly to the scooter crowd. No big surprises there. However, no one ever expected the import performance enthusiast crowd to latch onto the rugged little guy. A fast rising movement focused on modifying and increasing power and performance from the two-wheeled wonder began to surface, revealing an entirely new sub-culture with the insatiable appetite for "more."
