No odd numbers! I just looked up last year's roster settings:
QB, RB, RB, W/T, W/T, W/R/T, K, DEF, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN
9 roster positions, 5 bench. I think that roster is good, with maybe 1 or 2 more bench positions. It's impossible to have good backups for the skill positions, while still having a bye week replacement for K and Def. If we go to an 8 team league (or less), we should definitely think about expanding the playing roster positions because there will be more good players available to draft.
