Michigan: medical marijuana
prop 1 which legalizes medical marijuana is passing with flying colors at the moment. What are your thoughts and the legalization of marijuana for medical purposes?

yeah but those raids generally only happen to like the shops right? I mean the actual people who "need" it or can state wide legally obtain it don't get fucked with do they?

They're legal under state law but not under federal law so it creates a lot of shit storms.

I have friends that have the permit to buy it from shops. What I've seen is that there are two kinds of shops. Ones owned by assholes who are trying to make LOTS of money and eventually get raided, and shops that 'believe' in the medicinal side and don't get messed with.
For the most part, Feds don't have the resources to mess with the little guy and they are left the hell alone. You can even grow a certain amount for your own personal use.

correct it only happens to shops. i have a friend who has a shop and got raided, he said it was just a big hassle. got all his stuff with in 2 weeks. if you have a medical card and a cop catches you with 8th, they'll just hassle you after that they let you go on your way give your weed back. funny because this just happened to me about 3 weeks ago. so in short its a risk for a shop, not for you. unless you dont have your card with you.
