Hasbro's / TomyTakara's doing. It's all copyright and trademark infringement reasoning.

Shit really hit the fan when:
- KO Metroplex was released in February. Takara has an Encore one due in September.
- Hasbro announced a 30th Anniversary Optimus Prime at Botcon. This will be the USDM version of Encore Convoy.

I saw some of the new Aniimated series toys at Wal-Mart the other day. It looked like the rack had been picked clean except for 2 Ratchet figures. They looked pretty cool.

 

Are the kids watching TF Animated? If you're interested, or anyone here, I have the first 27 episodes in .avi (DivX) format. Get the 360's media stream going to get the shows on a TV.

The toys look Identical to the cartoon. It's simply amazing.

Also, the cartoon is a non-stop stream of G1 characters. :bowdown:
