It's a real threat to both the republican candidates and the democratic candidates. Bloomberg put his cards on the table and it will seriously shake things up in the race to 08.
Hell, I've been volunteering for the Obama campaign here in Chicago, but if Bloomberg runs, gains enough support nationally, folks like me and folks just right of center might start changin our minds about the two party system.
IMO, I like his policy and I like his stance. I don't, however, like his campaign approach or his lack of proper public speaking - which obama far surpasses and guilliani could could care less about - irrelevant to an informed individuals opinion, but incredibly important in a campaign run.
