I only saw one episode, the one where the good demon mech with the gold guns got injured? the concept of time stopping for a moment when they are around is sweet

New Dragon Ball to be toured and streamed online!
http://www.jumpland.com/animetour/
This year's 49th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has announced on Saturday that the Jumpland website will stream three of the anime specials — Dragon Ball, Tegami Bachi, and Romance Dawn — that have been screened at this fall's Jump Super Anime Tour events. The free streaming will begin on November 24, the day after the last stop on the tour. There are no indications on whether viewers outside Japan will be blocked by their Internet protocol (IP) addresses.

Dragon Ball manga creator Akira Toriyama himself drafted the story about the fan-favorite character Vegeta's younger brother Table for the tour's anime special. The special is the first new Dragon Ball anime episode in a decade. Tegami Bachi, Hiroyuki Asada's manga about a messenger boy in a strange fantasy land, was animated for the first time for this tour. Also for the first time, the Romance Dawn anime special adapted Eiichiro Oda's "prototype" manga that eventually evolved into his hit One Piece series.

Since this year's 49th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump is also the 2,000th issue of the magazine, Eyeshield 21 artist Yuusuke Murata drew the second half of a poster that combines all the popular characters from Jump's history. The first half was released earlier in this year's 34th issue to mark the 40th anniversary of the magazine. Viz Media has released or will release the Dragon Ball, Tegami Bachi, and One Piece manga in North America.

I'm almost finished with Toradora! and A Certain Magical Index. I may give Kannagi a try.
Toradora! is a damned good romantic comedy but isn't horribly girly.
Index is a good fantasy. Rather than one season long plot it seems to be split up into several different plots lasting 4-5 episodes.
