are you that naive that you don't think both sides are guilty of such garbage?

To be honest, I would be surprised if the democrats could get their shit together enough to put on that sort of thing. So yeah, I do think it's relatively one sided.

http://www.watchblog.com/republicans...es/004375.html

The law of unintended consequences says that the lies of Democrats will come back to haunt them. Thus it is with years of claims about stolen and rigged elections— Democrats have succeeded in suppressing Democratic voters.

...

This is not really unexpected is it? Tell folks that their vote was stolen election after election and wouldn't you expect that they would become dissillusioned? The problem is that there have been no stolen elections, and thus the lie works against the liars. Democrats are unable to triumph against the 'election riggers' because there's nothing to correct.

Donna Brazile's quote says it all. Who propagates and encourages the, "notion that elections are stolen and rigged?" Oh, I don't know...

...

Democrats are having to go out of their way to counter their own propaganda. The constant lies and conspiracy theories about voter disenfranchisement becomes even more pronounced when you consider the fact that nearly all the 'evidence' of voter suppression comes from districts and polling places controlled entirely by Democrats. I wonder why no one ever questions why that is?

Being told that your vote isn't counted in election after election is supposed to create outrage-- to fire up and inspire Democratic voters to defeat the 'hateful voter intimidating and suppressing GOP enemy'. But does it? I suspect it does to some extent, but it also dis-inspires voters at the same time. When these dis-inspired voters don't show up to vote-- viola... proof of voter suppression!

So... I post a news source, and you post an opinion blog to counter it?

Ehh, well, there's always this:
http://www.nytimes.com/2006/11/07/us...QUxUT69tspOI1g

This:

This:

And of course this felonious crime from a previous election:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2002_Ne...amming_scandal

And that's just the phones. Yes, there's some dem stuff, but most of them seem to arise from giving cigarettes to homeless people and, the regrettable, slashing of tires on some vans, but this is widespread attacks on literally thousands of people. 20 Senate races through one company alone.

There's no "conspiracy" here. Read the actual links. The FBI has even begun investigating the events in the original article.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Republicans are feeling the heat of possibly losing control of congress so it's only natural that they're using desperate measures to try and win. I'm sure Democrats would do the same thing if they were in control and thought they were about to lose.
