I broke down and got 2 unmollested megatrons

 

I thought they all shipped in non gun mode

I was able to find a new G1 poster at Wal-Mart.


It was $4.37 and is about 24 by 36 in size.

 

this is the part that annoys me. it ships in robot form, but they're still being modded.

The TFC06 LOOKS LIKE A GUN THOUGH AN XRAY. Yet ... that one is unmodded. Just annoying.

The japanese toy store on Golf and Algonquin (J1Toys) has the unmodified version for sale. I have no idea how much they're asking though.

Yes, I did get the last 2 mint ones on maybang this morning. TF source ran out of the unmodded ones.

I was about to pick up a titanium soundwave, but Andrew told me to hold off because he knew of some in better shape... wich didn't pan out. Apparently Andrew had been at a Walmart that had a bunch on the shelf. We were both surprised to see that a store got cleaned out of titanium TF's in under a day.

 

I just got back from ToyNK. I picked up a couple MP Megatrons for me and Andrew. ToyNK is selling MP Megatrons unplugged. No silly orange barrel plugs.

The problem is that the MP Megatrons are shipped in a case of 4 with no packing material whatsoever. It's box on box contact in there. The two on the outer perimeter take the brunt of the shipping damage. Of the two in the center of the case, there is only one that is in 100% perfect condition.

ToyNK had some on their showroom shelf, and an unopened case. I found a completely mint one on the shelf, and they let me open the sealed case on the floor.

If you're looking to purchase a MP Megatron from ToyNK, your chances of getting one in 100% perfect condition is now 1 in 9. There is only one left on the shelf that I would consider purchasing for myself.

The rest of them have box buckling on the sides, box rubs, scuffs, etc.

 

Some stores completely removed the UM / Skywarp sets from their endcaps around the same time they went on the 13.98 clearance. 2 stores near my house did this.

There were over 10 units one day, the next, gone.


Today, I found the UM / Skywarp set at Target for $4.98. There were lots.

If you went hunting for these immediately when they went on clearance, only to find them all mysteriously gone ... check again ASAP. It looks like they hit the 75% off while in the backroom.

 

found them in a cart today. They are going to get marked down.

I'm almost positive they're going to be in the same section with the $15 Classics Prime and Megatron. For how much, no idea.
