Default Transformers Collectors v4

Welcome to the Transformers / toy discussion thread. Remember, the On-Topic room isn't here solely for political debates. The room is also for threads that contain much insight and perspective that deserve to stay on-topic. (sports, hobbies, news, etc)

Since we are in a new forum, we'll have to change posting styles. Please read this over and try your best to accommodate for the "On-Topic" room.

1. We mainly discuss Transformers branded toys, but any toy is welcome into the discussion. We're often on many sites that have other items of interest, bring them up as you see fit.

2. Use the "edit" button more frequently. If you're posting eBay auctions the group might like, please do your best to incorporate it into one post. Feel free to use the "size" and "bold" tags to bring attention to something important.

3. When posting a reply, please put thought into what you're saying. I'm not calling anyone out, but posts like "cool..." or smilie only aren't acceptable. Please keep smilies to a minimum too.

If you're new to this thread, there are many toy enthusiasts here. It's not always the same 3 people, we've actually gathered more and more contributing members as time goes by. (We started with 3 or 4, now we're up to 10 or 12) Please chip in if you like.

Just a reminder, I am a moderator in this forum. I do not have to rely on others to apply warning points.

Thanks to all!

Andrew

anyhow, what the hell.. i hate to sound like a broken record, but still no sign of my THS-02's. i mean, damn, i pre-ordered a month ago. i also sent TFSource an email this morning, and no reply.

my brother pre-ordered the day the shortage was announced, and he got his days ago..

i'm getting impatient/worried..
TFSource is a bit wacky with inbound toys. Either they:

a) get it before the release date
b) are the last to get it

In either case, your item ships within 24 hours of inital stock arrival. Just a little more patience. :hs:

Nothing too tragic. I went though the exact same thing Reno is going though. TFSource was the last to have Pepsi Prime and Anime Galvatron back in January. While everyone else got theirs asap, mine came a good 2 weeks later.

"Hi,

We’ll be receiving the stock most likely tomorrow, so it will ship out promptly within a day or two. Our shipping team will email you as soon as it has shipped.

Thanks and Best Regards,

Curt

:hs: i thought they already had received this stuff....
:hs: by this time next week, you'll be sitting pretty.

I've only been collecting since 8/05. I haven't had many orders with BBTS, but I haven't had a problem yet.

I need advice ...

I was formally offered this in a 2nd chance auction:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=6046848380

$257 ...

1. do you trust the situation?
2. is it worth it?

In the auction pictures, this UM looks good. No yellowing of the plastic window, no visible dings, and the seller disclosed a flap crease.

How long does the 2nd chance offer last? Would the winning bidder with a feedback of 196 w/ one neg in the last year really not pay up? Would a seller with a feedback rating of 23 try and do someting?

Do you really want this? $257 is a good chunk of change, it's 2/3 of a spinner belt (:chuckles.

You could buy it using PayPal & a credit card. If you get screwed on the deal, you can file a claim and get your dough back. If it does come in as described and you don't like it, you can always sell it a few months down the road and turn a profit.

Of course, you don't want to listen to me...I just paid up $220 for a pee Magnus. :dunno:

while this seems like a good deal, it's really pushing a price barrier I don't want to get close to.

I have C10 reissues ... the only diff between this one and the ones on my shelf is a 3in high piece of cardboard.

I sent a message to both the seller and buyer. That makes no sense that "Trailbreaker1984" never pony'ed up the cash.

As much as a want that rotating belt, I need to get my shelf / closet situation fixed. With the stuff I need, It'll run about $100 in caRp from Target.

You'll have the same issue with the 2nd chance offer UM...once it's on your shelf you'll never let it go. :crazyr:
